Spring is one of my favourite times of year, as we finally get to enjoy being outside more. I think it is also a favourite time for my children too, but that may be more to do with chocolate at Easter than any other reason. My 2 year old took full advantage of Easter this year.
We did also manage to enjoy the beach at Easter this year. It was with coats on, but it wasn’t raining, and the children didn’t seem to mind the cold at all.
This last week the weather seems to have warmed up hugely, and at the weekend I was able to enjoy an outdoor photo shoot with a family expecting their second child. The mum was 39 weeks pregnant and had a beautiful bump. They have a 4 year old son, and as the photos show they had a really fun time having photos taken.
I always like to personalise a photo shoot, to try to include things which have meaning for the family. In this case I was told that the mum liked daffodils, but I was aware that the time frame for daffodils was rapidly passing. As we were heading back at the end of the photo shoot I spotted a lone daffodil, and managed to capture a pretty picture. I think the mum was confused as to why I was lying down on the floor, and it wasn’t till I showed her the photo that she realised I hadn’t gone entirely mad!
